Former Black Queens coach Yusif Basigi has been appointed as the new head coach of the Black Queens B team.
The Ghana FA stated that the move aimed to strengthen the technical leadership of women’s football in Ghana.
Basigi, who previously led both the Black Queens and the Black Princesses, brings vast experience to the role.
He has also managed Hasaacas Ladies in the Women’s Premier League and Simba Queens in Tanzania, and was one of two coaches the GFA sent to Germany in 2022 to enhance technical capacity.
Former Black Queens defender Dora Zuta has been named as assistant coach, while ex-Asante Kotoko and Black Stars goalkeeper Isaac Amoako takes charge of goalkeeping duties.
Other members of the technical and support staff include Aboagye Dacosta (Athletic Coach), Memunatu Mumuni (Equipment Officer), and Princess Amoako (Welfare Manager).
On the medical side, Dr Baah Christiana has been named Team Doctor, with Rabiatu Abubakar serving as Team Masseur and Gyamfuaa Amponsah as Physiotherapist.
