Just hours after the city of Omaha gave him a parade celebrating his achievement of becoming the first male boxer to be undisputed in three different weight categories, and in the wee hours of his actual birthday, multi-division champion, Terence “Bud” Crawford, was stopped and handcuffed by police for allegedly driving recklessly.
Below is an official statement from the Omaha Police department, describing the incident, as well as the fact that Omaha’s mayor and police chief have ordered a review of the traffic stop.
