Nana Kwaku Abrantie became the subject of online discussion after netizens questioned how a child so young could take on the role of a fetish priest.
However, addressing the many questions and shedding more light on his son’s spiritual experiences, the boy’s father revealed that when his son is possessed by the spirits, he consumes alcohol, including whisky, yet shows no signs of intoxication once the spirit departs.
“He is young, but when the spirit Kwaku Abrantie possesses him, he drinks alcohol such as whisky. And when the spirit leaves, the child doesn’t get drunk,” he explained.

The father also noted that different spirits demand different actions when they possess an individual.
“Each deity knows what he or she wants when they possess you. Some will make you drink alcohol, others will have you rub herbs or charcoal on your skin. If I don’t interpret it for you, you won’t understand what is happening,” he added.
Meanwhile, the puzzle surrounding Okomfo Kwaku Abrantie has continued to surprise many, sparking debates around the involvement of children in spiritual practices.
