Greater Accra ended the group-stage campaign with a 2–0 win over Elite Academy Greater Accra ended the group-stage campaign with a 2–0 win over Elite Academy

Greater Accra capped an impressive group-stage campaign with a clinical 2–0 victory over Elite Academy (Bolga) on Wednesday, September 24, to finish unbeaten at the 2025 KGL U17 Inter-Regional Colts Championship.

The in-form capital side showcased their dominance, dispatching their northern opponents to secure top spot in Group A.

The day’s action at the FIFA Pitch in Accra opened with a tense encounter between Northern Region and Upper West.

After a lively 0–0 stalemate, Northern Region held their nerve to edge the shootout 4–3, collecting valuable points to close their group-stage run.

In another Group A thriller, Volta Region prevailed 4–3 on penalties over defending champions Western Region.

The match ended goalless in regulation time, but Volta proved sharper from the spot to end their campaign on a winning note.

Over in Group B, Central Region impressed with a commanding 3–1 victory against Greater Accra Elite B, sealing their place among the competition’s form sides.

Ashanti Region kept pace with a solid 2–0 triumph over Upper East, while Brong Ahafo produced a measured 2–1 win to overcome 2024 third-place finishers Eastern Region.

The results set the stage for an exciting knockout phase, with Greater Accra emerging as the team to beat after a flawless group performance.
