The View co-host Ana Navarro jokingly invited people to attend her event with Kamala Harris in Miami ‘if you haven’t been deported yet.’
The former vice president appeared on the morning talk show as Navarro prepares to moderate the last stop of her 107 Days book tour in Florida‘s largest city on November 20.
‘November 20, I’m moderating the book tour in Miami so if you haven’t been deported yet, come see us,’ said Navarro, to laughs from the audience, the panel and Harris.
The runner-up in the 2024 election appeared stunned at the joke, mouthing to Navarro: ‘Oh, that’s awful.’
As the audience appeared both shocked and entertained, Harris appeared to suggest Navarro herself wasn’t locked down to appear.
‘Maybe or maybe not she’ll be moderating,’ Harris said amid her trademark cackle.
During her appearance on The View, Harris reflected on how she felt realizing that she had lost the US Election 2024 to Trump.
‘That night I grieved in a way that I have not since my mother died,’ she said.

‘The pain was not at all about losing a race, I knew what it was going to mean for the country.’
She also shared her rationale for why she believes she lost the election.
‘There are many factors, I think that played into the outcome of that election, but I think probably one of the biggest in my mind is we just didn’t have enough time,’ she said. ‘We didn’t have enough time.’
Harris last appeared on The View in the lead up to the election where she famously told viewers that she would not do anything differently to her predecessor, President Joe Biden.
It was a moment that many argued cost her the presidency, but Harris does not believe it was the tipping point.
‘I’m a loyal person, and I didn’t fully appreciate how much people wanted to know there was a difference between me and President Biden,’ she said.
‘I thought it was obvious, and I didn’t want to offer a difference in a way that would be received or suggested to be a criticism, and, you know, in the campaign full time I was pointing out the differences.’
Fans were left raging after ABC interrupted Kamala Harris‘ hotly-anticipated appearance on the show to instead air Donald Trump‘s address to the UN General Assembly in New York City.

The first 10 minutes of Tuesday’s episode of the panel show was pulled off the air in favor of the president’s speech, in which he tore into the organization for failing to end wars.
Fans of The View, however, were unimpressed by the move and demanded the network return to Harris’ interview with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farrah Griffin, immediately.
Luckily, when ABC resumed its programming at 11.10am, Harris had not yet been welcomed on.
Harris’ book, 107 Days, was released Tuesday.
