Germany-based Ghanaian Highlife star Kofi Eiphos has urged the Ghanaian media to pay more attention to artists residing abroad.

Known for his powerful live performances and international recognition, Eiphos expressed disappointment in the lack of media coverage for Ghanaian artists living outside the country.

Born Kweis Annan, Kofi Eiphos is regarded as one of the best Germany-based Ghanaian artists, proudly representing the nation with his performances.

He has thrilled audiences with his dynamic live shows worldwide, delivering a sold-out concert a few months ago in Germany alongside his colleagues.

Backed by a dynamic live band featuring both Ghanaian and German musicians, the concert showcased Kofi Eiphos’ infectious energy and deep connection with the crowd. Their combined talent created a truly unforgettable musical experience.

Speaking in an interview with Reagan Mends, Kofi Eiphos expressed disappointment over the lack of media coverage for abroad-based Ghanaian artists.

According to him, “Look at me. Despite doing so well with my music here in Germany, I’ve noticed that the Ghanaian media often overlooks artists living abroad. How many media houses are talking about us? They’re only waiting to hear bad news before they give us any attention.”

Kofi Eiphos, known for hit songs like “Abenaa” and “DJ 50 50,” believes that by focusing on the achievements and contributions of abroad-based artists, the Ghanaian music industry could benefit from increased exposure and global recognition.
