Actress Nana Ama McBrown has responded to the trending story involving her ‘uncle’, Bishop Salifu Amoako, and his son, Elrad Amoako.
On her show, Onua Showtime on Onua TV, McBrown shared that her connection with the pastor dates back to her childhood in Kwadaso. She explained that Salifu Amoako was a significant figure in her life, moving within the same circles as her uncles and elder relatives, which led her to see him as an uncle long before he became a pastor.
She also mentioned that she once attended his church and received support from him during that period.
Addressing the recent accident involving Bishop Amoako’s son, McBrown expressed her sympathy, noting that the incident is deeply painful for the pastor. She urged Ghanaians to show some compassion towards him. While she called for justice and the proper legal proceedings, she emphasized that Salifu Amoako is also suffering and should not be completely condemned as some have done.
