Swedru All Blacks stunned Berekum Chelsea in their first Premier League game at the Swedru Sports Stadium in 16 years after thumping the Blues 3-0 on matchday 2 of the 2025/26 season.

The Premier League returnees opened the scoring through Zayat Bubakari before Rudolf Mensah doubled the advantage in the first half.

Hafiz Alhassan sealed victory late in the match to secure an important first win for Swedru All Blacks in the top division this campaign.

Having produced a strong display at Abrankese last week against Nations FC, where they lost 2-1, All Blacks came into the game on Sunday needing to give their fans something to savour.

The hosts got off to a bright start as they made their early pressure count, with Bubakari opening the scoring in the 23rd minute with a fine finish.

Chelsea struggled to match their opponents and, just as the Blues looked to be recovering, they were dealt another blow with Mensah netting All Blacks’ second just before half-time.

After the break, both sides rang in some changes, with Chelsea’s Samuel Boadu switching to a more offensive approach.

However, it was his opposite number’s substitute that had an impact on the game. All Blacks coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathy replaced captain Kweku Asuandze with Hafiz Ibrahim, who became an instant hero by scoring the third to round off an emphatic win.

All Blacks will next travel to Dormaa to face Aduana, while Berekum Chelsea take on GoldStars in Bibiani.
