Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to grassroots empowerment and national development with a generous GH₵500,000 seed capital donation to women entrepreneurs in the Madina constituency.

The support, channeled through his “Walk With Julius” initiative, was unveiled during the official launch of the Madina Chamber of Commerce, spearheaded by Member of Parliament Francis Xavier Sosu.

Mr. Debrah’s intervention is aimed at empowering women, supporting small businesses, and fostering a culture of self-reliance. The Madina Chamber will serve as a springboard for local entrepreneurs, with a focus on women-led businesses, many of which struggle to access capital and structured mentorship.

Addressing entrepreneurs and community leaders at the event, Julius Debrah emphasized that entrepreneurship is a calling open to all, regardless of formal education or social background. “God didn’t bless everyone to become a doctor or a lawyer, but He gave each of us unique talents. Some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs started with nothing more than belief in their ideas. The most important thing is to start,” he noted.

He encouraged women and youth to view business as a seed requiring patience, nurturing, and determination. Quoting scripture, he reminded the gathering of the biblical story of Moses’ staff, underscoring the power of faith and resilience in turning ordinary beginnings into extraordinary outcomes.

Mr. Debrah’s message was practical as well as inspirational. “Even if you want to start something as small as selling roasted plantain, the way you present your business can make all the difference,” he advised, urging entrepreneurs to combine vision with discipline.

The Chief of Staff also assured that the Madina Chamber of Commerce will not only provide financial support but also act as a family of encouragement and collaboration. “I came here with good news, and I believe together, we can build something great,” he said.

This gesture reflects Julius Debrah’s long-standing record of supporting community-based initiatives. Over the years, he has championed educational scholarships, health outreach programs, and youth development projects, consistently putting people at the center of his work. His leadership style rooted in accessibility, compassion, and action has earned him admiration across political divides.

The launch of the Chamber, powered by his donation, is expected to transform the entrepreneurial landscape in Madina and serve as a model for other constituencies. For the women and youth of Ghana, Mr. Debrah’s example sends a powerful message: dream big, start small, and with faith and hard work, success is within reach.
