Kristi Noem shared a bizarre highlight reel of a Chicago ICE operation, featuring a remixed version of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit playing in the background.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary shared the outlandish edit, dramatically depicting the detainment of five illegal migrants – and two American citizens – on X on Thursday morning.

Roughly one minute long, the video began with multiple shots of ICE agents and their uniforms as the eerie rendition of the classic song plays: ‘Load up on guns, bring your friends.’

Trump Tower appeared in the distance as the agents drove through the Illinois city to the home, located in the suburb of Elgin, where the arrests were made.

The ‘ICE Barbie’ herself was also featured in the clip, alongside the slew of officers who aided the blitz.

Halfway through the edit – as the song’s beat rapidly accelerated, leading into the chorus – the agents blew open the residence’s front door.

Sparks then flew from what seemed to be a small explosion.

Two men were then seen being escorted in cuffs toward the federal vehicle.

‘We will not back down,’ Noem, 53, captioned the video, which received more than 16,000 likes and a slew of mixed reactions in the comment section.

Noem’s video chronicled a raid that occurred early Tuesday morning, according to CBS News.

The commotion caused a stir in the quiet community, with panicked neighbors left flustered and confused as agents swarmed the home.

‘I was awakened at 20 to 6 by the drone of a helicopter flying overhead, circling the house, circling the neighborhood, spotlight on, right over the house,’ nearby resident Jim Andresen told CBS.

‘Very unusual in our usually quiet neighborhood.’

Federal officers detained seven people from the home, but the two who were determined to be US citizens were released later in the day.

On Thursday morning, a DHS spokesperson told CBS: ‘No US citizen was arrested, they were briefly held for their and officers’ safety while the operation in the house was underway. This is standard protocol.’

In Noem’s original social media post about the raid, she claimed the offenses of the migrants arrested included DUI, felony stalking and assault.

Over 900 people commented on Noem’s Thursday morning reel, with viewers both commending and criticizing her and Border Patrol.

‘God bless our men in uniform. They walk straight into danger to keep us all safe,’ one man said.

‘Americans stand with you, Secretary Noem. We are so proud of you and our brave men and women in uniform,’ another agreed.

But others were less impressed with Noem’s mini film.

‘Folks, we have another video of Noem playing dress-up again,’ someone jeered.

‘These videos are so goofy and cringe,’ another chimed in.

Raids of this nature and force are expected to last in Chicago for at least the next few weeks as a part of the Trump administration’s ‘Operation Midway Blitz.’

Earlier this month, the DHS vowed to target migrants with criminal records who flocked to Illinois because of its sanctuary policies.

‘President Trump and Secretary Noem stand with the victims of illegal alien crime while Governor [JB] Pritzker stands with criminal illegal aliens,’ the DHS wrote at the time.
