Multiple police officers have been shot in Pennsylvania as cops have warned the public of a ‘very active scene’.
The officers were shot in North Codorus on Wednesday during an unknown incident, Ted Czech, public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management/York County 911, told Evening Sun.
The first 911 call regarding the incident came in at 2.10pm.
Two officers were taken to the hospital as a MedEvac helicopter was spotted at the scene before heading to York Wellspan Hospital.
Three officers are at the scene with injuries.
Meanwhile, Spring Grove School District is having all schools in the area shelter in place.
The district made it clear that the officer-involved situation is not related to students or schools.
