Discover how professional trader Kojo Forex built his career on discipline, resilience, and focus, and why Exness has been his trusted partner since 2017.
Discipline, resilience, focus. For Kojo Forex, these aren’t just traits—they’re the foundation of his life as a trader. “From every chart and every market shift, there’s a story to read and lessons to share.
This is not just what I do, it’s who I am. That’s how I know I was born for this,” he states.
Kojo began his trading journey in 2012, driven by a deep desire for financial independence.
Inspired by his father’s dedication to supporting the family, he set out to create a future where he could balance work, home, and personal goals on his own terms.
“All you need is a laptop and an internet connection,” he explains. “Learning about the financial markets was very important for me, because I understood trading could give me that balance and freedom.”
In his early years, trading was as much about learning patience as it was about learning technical skills. Kojo explored different strategies, experienced successes and disappointments, and developed the discipline to analyze markets without letting emotions take control.

The evolution of a trader
Kojo’s journey was far from straightforward. “I started trading as a scalper,” he says. “It was actually very stressful. It felt like I had left my 9-5 job just to come back into one again.” Scalping on one-minute and five-minute charts meant long hours watching every price move, often with no clear break in sight.
He later transitioned to day trading and eventually to swing trading, finding his rhythm on the four-hour and daily charts. This shift brought a new level of calm and precision to his approach. “I set an alarm clock on four-hour intervals. I have a specific thing that I’m looking for on the market. If I don’t find exactly what I’m looking for, I stay away.”
A defining moment came in 2020. “I lost everything, and all I was left with was a 500 USD trading account,” Kojo recalls. “I was able to trade myself back up to financial stability. From that time, I just knew that I was really born to trade.”
That recovery period taught him the importance of risk management and self-control. It also reinforced his belief that trading is a long-term journey, not a quick win.
Building on trust
As his career progressed, Kojo recognized the importance of working with the right broker. “If you’re looking for this to be a career, you want a partner that is sustainable and has a long-term vision,” he says. This search led him to Exness in 2017.
For Kojo, Exnessstood out for its advanced features—like instant withdrawals1, which give traders access to their funds anytime. “Trading is around the clock, so your broker should be too,” he says. “It’s one of the things that makes a difference between a smooth experience and a stressful one.”
He also points to Negative Balance Protection. “When you have 1,000 USD and your strategy goes wrong, you lose only what you had; it doesn’t go beyond that,” he explains. “That’s a fantastic feature.”
For Kojo, this combination of fast access to funds, protective tools, and transparency in pricing and execution is what builds real trust between trader and broker.
Giving back to the community
Today, as an ExnessTeam Pro Ambassador, Kojo uses his platform to inspire and mentor other traders. “What I enjoy most is being able to touch people’s lives directly.
I organize seminars, meet traders, and share what I’ve learned so they can also achieve their goals,” he says.
For him, mentoring is not just about techniques but the mindset. At events and workshops, Kojo emphasizes preparation and self-awareness.
He encourages traders to review their plans before entering a position and to understand the conditions that align with their strategy.
By sharing his own routines, like monitoring key currency pairs and keeping an eye on economic calendars, he offers practical steps that traders can apply immediately.
Kojo’s discipline has paid off in more ways than one. By 30, he had achieved his goal of becoming a millionaire, built homes for his family and himself, and launched a trading academy. But for him, success is measured in more than numbers.
“Trading has taught me that growth comes from consistency and resilience,” he reflects. “It’s not just the wins and the losses—it’s the lessons learned. Sharing this knowledge, helping others reach their potential—that is what fuels me. Why? Because I was born for this.”
At Exness, over 98% of withdrawals are processed automatically. Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.
