A man was taken aback to find shea butter stuffed into a Mentos gum container, which his mum had placed on her nightstand.
Speaking about how his mum had taken things to a “whole new level,“ he shared a video showing his mum’s nightstand, filled with various products, including two Mentos gum containers.
He remarked on how he had seen the Mentos container and only wanted to grab a piece of gum, only to be met with “ori”, which is shea butter in Yoruba.
A common tradition in many Nigerian homes is the repurposing of old containers once used for various products.
However, he was shocked that his mother would go as far as using tiny containers like Mentos canisters to store skincare products.
