The rags-to-riches millionaire has put his lavish seven-bedroom mansion on the market for almost £7m.
Oliver Nobahar-Cookson, who kick-started health supplement brand Myprotein in his twenties, has put the Tudor-style country pile for £300k less than what he bought it for.
The drop in value isn’t likely to worry Cookson though, as the sprawling mansion is just one of his many ultra-luxurious properties around the globe, with a portfolio including homes in Monte Carlo and Monaco.
Located on the cusp of Cheshire’s famous ‘Golden Triangle’, the house sits in 13 acres of woodland and private land in plush Alderley Edge.
The main house is spread across four floors, boasting five bedrooms, an entrance hall, spacious dining room and open plan kitchen each decorated in a blend of traditional timber frames and modern fittings.
There is also a leisure suite consisting of a pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, as well as a cinema room, bar, wine cellar and gymnasium.
A cosy annex just across the cobblestone drive above the property’s five door garage features a further two bedrooms, a dining area and kitchen – perfect for any guests seeking their own space.

And millionaire nutrition tycoon Oliver was no exception, as despite leaving school with just one GCSE he went on to become worth an estimted £306million.
Cookson, originally from Cheadle Heath, Manchester, left education at the age of 16 because school ‘wasn’t for him’ and went on to complete an apprenticeship in computer programming.
The budding entrepreneur taught himself how to make a website in his spare time and after taking a sabbatical in Australia he fell in love with the fitness industry.
His passion for working out led him into taking protein and supplements which later sparked his interest into what was actually in them.
At 23-years-old, he wondered if there was a faster and cheaper way to make protein powder himself.
Oliver asked his local bank for a start-up loan but he was turned down, however, they did agree to increase his overdraft to £500.
Using his overdraft, the entrepreneur bought a bag of protein and started mixing and flavouring his product. In 2004 he put the product on his website and it sold out straight away.
While working full-time as a web developer, he single-handedly ran the company until the demand for his product became too much to handle alone.
Eventually Myprotein had grown so much that Oliver was able to buy his first warehouse in Cheadle Heath.
Just a few years after starting the company, Oliver’s hard work paid off when Myprotein was named the number one sports nutrition online company in Europe.
In 2011, he sold the company to The Hut Group for an impressive £350 million in cash.

It is unclear when Oliver purchased the property in Cheshire, but his departure from the luxurious Hanson Hall will no doubt entice another high earning A-lister to take his place.
Alderley Edge was also once home to David and Victoria Beckham, who bought a converted barn for £1.25million in 2001 and spent £200,000 doing it up.
They were forced to sell it it four years later after the midfielder had moved to Real Madrid.
The three-storey Hollinshead House, which is 16 miles from Manchester City Centre, sits on half an acre of land and boasts landscaped gardens and grounds.
The ground floor opens with a huge entrance hall and boasts a luxurious play room, drawing room, and breakfast room.
There is also a hand made David Lisle kitchen with limestone floor and granite worktops, utility room, boot room, and bathroom.
Other famous footballers to have moved from the bustling streets of Manchester to the Cheshire countryside include former Manchester City teammates Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish.

The former was reportedly spotted viewing homes with his long-term partner Isabel Haugseng Johansen, 20, in October 2024.
The Sun later reported they had moved to the countryside after purchasing a six-bed mansion near Alderley Edge, which is just an estimated 30 minutes from Manchester city centre.
Meanwhile Grealish, who recently completed a move to Merseyside with Everton, bought a £5.6m property near Knutsford with his partner Sasha Attwood.
Cristiano Ronaldo is another big name to have previously purchased a property in the area following his return to the Premier League in 2021.
The 23-acre estate, which the Portuguese star put up for sale shortly after his move to Saudi Arabia in 2023, includes a two-bed guest barn as well as the stunning main house.
Other features include a cinema room, a wine store, a leisure suite with pool, gym, sauna, and jacuzzi, and a padel court.
Manchester United star Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen also used to live in Prestbury until they moved to a £20million home they designed nearby.
