An investigation is underway in Chicago after police pulled a woman, six-year-old boy and baby girl from the water.
The three bodies were located Saturday on the city’s South Side, the Chicago Police Department said.
The suspicious deaths are believed to be connected to a possible domestic dispute, according to authorities.
The infant, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was found around 11.30am. Her exact age is unknown.
The boy and a woman, 31, were pulled from the lake just before 2.30pm, police stated.
They were also pronounced dead at the scene and found about a mile from where the baby was found.
The medical examiner has not yet identified the victims or their cause of death as autopsies are pending.
Police are not currently searching for possible suspects at this time, the department said.

A witness who saw the baby girl pulled from the water, described the awful scene.
‘They brought her in, and they came up on the dock to put her on the stretcher. Her little hands were so stiff,’ the woman told WGN.
Another person recalled: ‘She was purple and the foam was all in her nose, all over her lips, and all of the women just hollered.’
A local, named only as Ronald, told the outlet: ‘It just hits close to home.’

Lake Michigan runs through Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. The water temperature was around 70F degrees Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
