FIFA have begun ticket sales ahead of the 2026 World Cup FIFA have begun ticket sales ahead of the 2026 World Cup

Just 24 hours into the entry period for the FIFA World Cup 26™ Visa Presale Draw, FIFA has received an impressive number of applications from around the globe, with more than 1.5 million fans from 210 countries having signed up.

The highest demand so far has come from fans in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, followed by their counterparts in Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, England, Spain, Portugal, and Germany.

“The large number of entries submitted is a testament to the huge amount of excitement sparked across the globe by the FIFA World Cup 26™ and the extent to which it’s set to become a watershed moment in football history,” said Heimo Schirgi, Chief Operating Officer of the FIFA World Cup 26.

The Visa Presale Draw marks the first phase of ticket sales for the tournament—and the first opportunity for fans to take action to experience what promises to be the greatest FIFA World Cup™ yet.

Importantly, the timing of a fan’s entry during the draw period does not impact their chances of success. Fans who have not yet applied can still submit an entry any time before 11 a.m. ET (17:00 CET) on 19 September, 2025.

Following a randomized selection process, successful applicants will be notified via email starting 29 September, and will be assigned a specific date and time slot to purchase tickets (subject to availability), with time slots beginning 1 October, 2025.

Fans will be able to secure group-stage tickets from just $60 at the start of sales. Single-match tickets for all 104 matches will be available, along with venue-specific and team-specific tickets.

Subsequent ticket sales phases will begin in October.

It was indicated that fans can also purchase single-match and multi-match hospitality packages, which include match tickets, at FIFA.com/hospitality

As always, FIFA strongly encourages fans to buy tickets only through FIFA.com/tickets, the official and preferred source for FIFA World Cup tickets. Hospitality packages and tickets obtained from unofficial sources may not be valid.
