Ghanaian highlife star Ras Koko has released his much-anticipated single, “Azaa Sofo”, a bold project he believes will win Ghana its first Grammy award.

The title, which translates as “False Prophet” in English, takes aim at deception and manipulation within the clergy, urging society to embrace truth, integrity, and discernment.

With his fearless lyricism and signature highlife rhythms, Ras Koko blends hard-hitting commentary with infectious beats, creating a track that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

Speaking in an interview with Christopher A. Ranson, Ras Koko born Richard Nana Opoku in Tarkwa said the song is a wake-up call for Ghanaians.

For over 20 years, he has used his craft to reflect society’s realities while empowering listeners through music.

From Tarkwa to Accra, his loyal fan base continues to grow, making him one of the most relatable voices in contemporary music. “Azaa Sofo” is now streaming on all digital platforms.
