An X (Twitter) user shared how her sister was let down by a cake vendor who managed to ruin the simple cake design she had ordered for her 23rd birthday.

Posting images of what her sister had ordered versus what the vendor delivered, she called out the vendor for ruining the birthday cake, saying:

    “Vendors don strike again.

This time my sister was the victim.

The ‘Ok’ dey trigger me 😭😂”

Her sister had ordered a simple white cake, decorated with white ruffles along the border and golden pearls sprinkled on top.

For the writing on the cake, she wanted an image of a popular stick figure used in WhatsApp stickers, along with the words: “Not Me Turning 26.”

The only change she requested from the original design was to replace “26” with “23”, a simple alteration that shouldn’t have caused any issues.

However, the cake vendor misunderstood the instructions and did something completely different. Instead of what the customer requested, the vendor wrote: “23, though note 26,” and left out the stick figure entirely.

The lady was so disappointed with the result that she blamed herself for overestimating the vendor’s IQ. The image quickly went viral online, with users mocking the cake.

    Some of the comments,

@mimi_blaq1 Itiboribo😭😭😭😭but where she see e wey she add for note? No be 23 though not 26? Why she write 23 though note 26

@krazybeing__ Why the vendor turn “Not” To “Note”?😂

@popby_popcorn The calligraphy sef na problem 😂😂

@effedeborah She gave you cake and still note 26 as freebie
