Gospel music star Obaapa Christy delivered a captivating performance at the one-week celebration of the life of legendary highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, held at Black Star Square on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
The event, which drew fans, celebrities, and dignitaries to honour the late icon, was marked by emotional tributes and musical performances.
Obaapa Christy, a longtime admirer of Daddy Lumba, performed some of her hit songs, including W’asue Me and W’agye Me, electrifying the crowd with her powerful vocals and spiritual energy.
