Ghana will once again take centre stage in the global tourism space as it prepares to host the 5th edition of the Inter Tourism Expo Accra (iNTTA 2025) from October 23 to 25 at the Palms Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

The event, organised in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, is expected to be a landmark gathering on the regional tourism calendar.

Held on the theme: “Cultures Connecting: Fostering Tourism Exchange and Understanding,” the Expo will bring together stakeholders from Ghana, West Africa, and the global tourism community to foster cultural diplomacy, business networking, and strategic partnerships.

More than 30 countries are expected to participate, with tourism boards, airlines, hotels, and travel technology companies showcasing their products and services.

Visitors will also experience live cultural performances, culinary showcases, fashion displays, traditional arts, and other creative expressions from Ghana and beyond.

Business-to-business forums, investment summits, policy dialogues, and a high-level diaspora forum will provide avenues for collaboration and innovation across the tourism value chain.

Other activities will include familiarisation trips to tourist attractions, nightlife showcases, and a Youth and Innovation Pavilion to highlight emerging talents, start-ups, and digital solutions shaping the industry’s future.

Professor Kobby Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of the GTDC, said the Expo reflected Ghana’s growing reputation as a tourism powerhouse in Africa.

“iNTTA 2025 is more than an event, it’s a movement. We are inviting the world to experience Ghana’s story and to build bridges that connect cultures and economies,” he stated.

Emmanuel Treku, Chief Executive Officer and Convener of the Inter Tourism Expo Accra, said the Expo was a call to the global tourism community to rally around Ghana’s vision of promoting tourism as a driver of growth and intercultural exchange.

“Tourism is collaborative, cultural, and connected, and it begins in Accra this October,” he added.

Registration for exhibitors and delegates is open at www.intertourismexpo.com.
