Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare has been captured training rigorously ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2025 Democracy Cup.

The Phobians are currently preparing for the 2025 Democracy Cup scheduled on September 5, against city rivals Accra Great Olympics at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Asare was captured by GhanaWeb’s cameras training with his team for the game but he might not take part because he will be on national assignment around the same time.

The Hearts of Oak goalkeeper will report to Black Stars camp on Monday, September 1, 2025, for preparations ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

Benjamin Asare was the only player from the Ghana Premier League named in Black Stars coach, Otto Addo‘s 24-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers
