The Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has inaugurated three technical committees to advance the agenda of strengthening agriculture financing and enhancing productivity in key economic crops.
The committees are the Agriculture Financing Committee, the Oil Palm Project Committee, and the Cocoa Project Committee.

According to the minister, the Technical Committee on Agriculture Financing has been tasked to, within three weeks, develop a comprehensive policy framework to support financing for strategic economic crops.
The committee is made up of representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Ghana, COCOBOD, Tree Crop Development Authority, among others.
