Manager of Akyem Kotoku Royals Ladies Football Club, Sandra Boakye has been appointed as the new head coach for Ghana’s U-15 girls national team nicknamed the Black Damsels.
Boakye, a former U-17 and U-20 player who currently holds CAF License B certificate brings experience and passion into her role as the head coach.
Her appointment comes as a significant milestone in the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) commitment to advance women’s football in the country.
Under the leadership of the newly appointed coach Boakye, the Black Damsels are expected to become a powerhouse in youth football on the continent.

Sandra Boakye will be supported by assistant coaches, Stephen Jojo Ampa, Gifty Ayew and Joseph Akeem as the goalkeeper’s trainer.
