Charlton Athletic manager, Nathan Jones was full of praise for Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku after his team’s defeat to Leicester City in the English Championship.
Fatawu Issahaku on Saturday, August 23, 2025, scored a beautiful solo goal to end Leicester City’s nine winless away games against Charlton Athletic at the Valley Stadium.
Speaking after his team’s defeat, Nathan Jones said they only lost the game because of the brilliant and the moment of magic produced by Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in the 48th minute.
“He’ll end up in the Premier League in a week’s time. That was the only difference. It took a one-in-a-million strike to win the game for them from 30 yards,” the Charlton boss said.
