The Volta Regional Office of the National Sports Authority (NSA) is set to present its developmental plans to the Regional Minister, James Gunu, for consideration and adoption.
At a meeting with federation heads and the NSA leadership, the Regional Director, Madam Philipina Frimpong, urged federations to go beyond merely highlighting their challenges and also propose practical solutions.
She noted that focusing only on problems could distract them from their core mandate of developing sports in the region.

Outlining the NSA’s vision for sports development in Volta, Frimpong highlighted key priority areas for regional growth, stressing that these would form the basis of the submission to the Regional Minister.
The NSA’s Planning and Evaluation Officer, Dzidodo Ruben Adjahoe, encouraged federation leaders to share their success stories, which he said often go untold.
According to him, publicising such achievements could attract support from corporate bodies and other stakeholders.
