Veteran Kumawood actor and comedian Kojo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has publicly apologised to his colleagues in the Ghanaian film industry following a series of controversial outbursts.

In a new video, Lilwin expressed deep regret for the harsh words he uttered in recent weeks while promoting his much-anticipated movie, Captain Ibrahim: The Last African Hero.

According to Lil Win, the heated comments were made out of frustration as he struggled under intense pressure from the demands of the movie’s premiere, coupled with what he described as a lack of support from some industry colleagues.

“I am begging my loved ones. You all saw how I was suffering before I premiered my movie. You had people not showing support but who were quick to say negative things about me whenever my issues came out. This is what made me react that way because there was pressure on me,” he explained.

Lil Win admitted that, in hindsight, some of his statements were regrettable and should never have been made.

He urged those who may have been hurt by his remarks to forgive him as he works towards mending strained relationships in the industry.

The actor’s heartfelt apology has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans praising his humility for admitting his mistakes, while others called on his colleagues to embrace unity and support each other in pushing Ghana’s movie industry forward.
