    Kwesi Pratt wonders how God sent a message to a prophet but he forgot give him location Kwesi Pratt wonders how God sent a message to a prophet but he forgot give him location

    Veteran journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has sparked controversy by suggesting that many self-proclaimed prophets and pastors who make wild and weird prophetic claims may be sick and in need of medical attention.

    He has therefore called for urgent medical attention for some of them to examine their high fever levels.

    Kwesi Pratt’s reactions come in the wake of the recent raging issues of wild prophetic claims, which have generated national interest and debate, forcing the Presidential Envoy on Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, to request the submission of all forms of prophecy about the nation for evaluation.

    Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana programme, he stated unequivocally that “many of these people are sick. They need medical attention urgently, but fortunately for them, they have people like my brother sitting here [referring to a co-panellist] supporting them.”

    Recounting a personal experience he had with a man who walked into his office with a briefcase claiming to have a prophecy about him over 20 years ago, Pratt said, most of what has become known as prophecies are influenced by high fever.

    According to Pratt, the man said he saw him- Pratt Jnr- being chased towards the Madina road, where he [Pratt] eventually jumped into a big pool of water, and crocodiles started moving towards him.

    However, he asserted that the prophecy had not come to pass 20 years later, after he angrily drove the said gentleman away from his office.

    Touching on the prophet who claimed to have received a prophecy indicating that Dr Omane Boamah was going to die in a helicopter crash, he had this to say;

    “Whatever his name is, that guy who said that he saw something about Omane Boamah and tried, but he couldn’t get to him…

    “Of all the 32 million people in Ghana, God identified him and gave him a message for Omane Boamah, but God forgot to show him how to get to Omane Boamah? What nonsense is that?”

    He added, “What kind of God is that? That he knows Omane Boamah is going to die through a helicopter crash, and then of all the 32 million people, he selects a particular guy, and gives him the message, and God forgot to show him how to get to Omane Boamah, and you believe this trash? Please, let’s wake up.”

    It will be recalled that in the wake of the tragic helicopter crash that killed all eight persons onboard, including two ministers, many prophets have claimed that they saw the tragedy coming.

    According to Reverend Owusu Bempah, who has gained popularity for issuing prophecies about the political class, he foresaw the tragic crash, but state actors failed to heed his call to avert it.

    Additionally, an old video which captured Samuel Henry, who is popularly called Prophet Roja, giving a prophecy about a possible domestic aircraft crash in Ghana, has reemerged and is making waves on social media.

    “God is speaking to me right now, on the 29th of July, 2025. Please record this. Let all Christians in Ghana pray. This is a conditional prophecy. What I am seeing is that there is going to be a plane crash. I see a plane mid-air, and then it suddenly crashes,” he prophesied.

    The helicopter crash occurred on August 6, 2025, at Adansi Akrofuom, in which all eight persons onboard were killed.

    All the victims of the crash have since been buried.
