Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has finally stepped out for a public event after weeks of recovery from her recent surgery, which kept her away from hosting Onua Showtime.
The celebrated actress and TV presenter, who had earlier assured fans in a TikTok live session that she was doing well after undergoing surgery on her right hand, was spotted on Friday, August 15, 2025, at a family occasion.
McBrown attended the wedding ceremony of her younger brother and godson, marking her first major public appearance since the procedure.
At the ceremony, McBrown carefully kept her surgically treated hand covered while mingling with guests.
Also, after the wedding on the same day, the screen goddess hosted a simple birthday party at her residence.
McBrown underwent her fifth surgery on her arm due to recurring pain and complications from a 2013 car accident.
She revealed this during a TikTok live session in July, where she explained her absence from TV, asking fans for prayers and expressing gratitude for their support.
She added that her arm had become “crooked,” and she relied heavily on painkillers to film her show, McBrown’s Kitchen, before the surgery.
