Six (6) of the military helicopter crash victims have been laid to rest in a solemn burial ceremony at the Military Cemetery at Tse Addo, on Friday, August 15, 2025.
They include political and government officials; Dr Edward Omane Boamah, Samuel Aboagye, Dr Samuel Sarpong, as well as crew members; Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
The ceremony followed an interdenominational funeral service held at Black Star Square, that was characterised by emotional tributes by the family of the deceased.

The President, John Dramani Mahama, the Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, bereaved families, the Ghana Armed Forces, government officials, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and other dignitaries laid wreaths in memory of the deceased at the Military Cemetery.
The burial was marked with full military honours, including performances by the Ghana Air Force and Ghana Armed Forces bands.
Two of the victim, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, and Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator, Alhaji Limuna Muniru Mohammed were buried on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
