Two of Ghana’s greats, André Dede Ayew and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, had an encounter at the Nania Park located at the University of Ghana.
In a video shared by sports journalist Andydotcom on X on August 14, 2025, Ayew was overwhelmed with joy when he saw his former teammate Badu, and both of them hugged and exchanged pleasantries.
Afterward, they engaged in a brief conversation where Dede complimented the former Udinese midfielder’s look, maintaining it was in the best form.
In the course of the interaction, Dede Ayew was heard saying, “You’re looking fresh oh, you’re looking fresh!”

Badu, beaming with smiles, responded with an appreciative remark.
The two players played an integral role in the 2009 U-20 World Cup in Egypt, where they defeated Brazil to win the title and make history.
The two met as André Ayew’s XI were taking on Ofr3 XI at the Nania Park in a ceremonial game among some active and ex-footballers.

Former Black Stars player, Mubarak Wakaso and ex-Hearts of Oak midfielder, Gladson Awako were among the players who took part in the match.
Meanwhile, the former Swansea City is in the country, searching for a new club after parting ways with French side Le Havre.
