Afrobeats megastar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his longtime partner Chioma Rowland Adeleke, officially tied the knot in a lavish white wedding ceremony on Sunday in Miami, United States.

The event, which has since dominated social media trends, has been described by the couple as a “dream come true” and “one of the best days” of their lives.

In a tweet shared after the celebration, Davido expressed his joy, saying: “We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife’s body still dey sweet us like this. NOTHING una fit do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding! It was one of the best days, if not the best day of our lives. The whole world celebrated us!”

The star-studded affair brought together family, close friends, business moguls, political leaders, and entertainment icons from Nigeria and beyond.

The guest list read like a who’s who of African excellence. Billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote, a longtime family friend, was in attendance, alongside Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is also Davido’s uncle.

Other high-profile political figures included Abia State Governor Alex Otti and former Senate President Bukola Saraki.

The entertainment industry was equally well represented. Afrobeats stars Zlatan Ibile, Adekunle Gold, and Teniola Apata graced the occasion, as did nightlife magnate Obi Cubana and talent manager Ubi Franklin.
