Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Roja, has gained national attention after his old video appeared to predict the tragic death of Ghana’s Defence Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, in a helicopter crash on August 6, 2025.
In the widely circulated video, Prophet Roja is seen passionately asking for the identity of Ghana’s Defence Minister and pleading for him to make immediate contact.
At the time of the original broadcast, the motive behind the prophet’s request was unclear, but in the wake of the tragic accident, many Ghanaians are now connecting the dots.
Dr Omane Boamah, along with seven others, lost their lives in a military helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region a devastating event that has shocked the nation and sparked widespread mourning.
Following the incident, videos of Prophet Roja’s prophecy began circulating online, with many drawing connections between his words and the accident.
Reacting to the development, Prophet Roja confirmed that the prophecy was made during a sermon aired on Angel FM’s Kumasi branch.
Speaking in a follow-up interview, he recalled the events leading up to the revelation.
“I had just closed from church and started receiving several calls,” he explained. “On August 1, 2025, which was last Friday, I stood in front of my church altar and mentioned the name of the Minister of Defence, asking him to contact me urgently.”
Prophet Roja added that following his prophetic call-out, he received a call from someone who labeled him “arrogant,” a comment he chose not to respond to. “I didn’t respond; I just kept quiet,” he said.
The renewed attention on the prophecy has triggered intense discussions on social media about divine revelations, spiritual warnings, and the importance of listening to such messages.
