This is the Oasis fan who tragically fell to his death during Saturday night’s concert at Wembley Stadium.

Lee Claydon plummeted from the upper tier balcony of the stadium at the sell out gig in front of 100,000 people.

The father of one, from Bournemouth, died at the scene despite medics battling to save his life in front of horrified fans as the band finished off the gig.

In a statement issued over the weekend Liam and Noel Gallagher said they were ‘shocked and saddened’ by the tragedy.

Mr Claydon’s brother Aaron has now paid tribute, describing him as ‘the man I have always looked up to’ via a GoFundMe page set up to support his grieving family.

He wrote: ‘Our family has been turned upside down and are struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss.

‘Lee leaves behind his Son, Dad, Partner, Brothers, Sisters, Nephews and Niece.

‘Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son Harry and was loved so much by all his family. Lee would have done anything for any of us and he was taken from us far too soon and we will miss him so very much.

‘Lee loved all outdoor activities, one of his favourite hobbies was fishing. He also loved music and his guitar. He also really enjoyed going to watch and support the boys and his nephew at their football games.

‘Amanda and the boys have our full support at this very sad time which is why we would love to be able to help them financially as well as emotionally.

‘Please help us raise as much funds as we can to take one worry off Amanda and family right now as they are going through any family’s worst nightmare.’

An eyewitness told the Daily Mail they heard screams and shouts after the male had tumbled.

They said: ‘It was horrendous. The guy fell from a balcony. Paramedics came rushing over. There was a lot of screaming and shouting.

‘It was a big fall. God knows how it happened. It was so tragic. I don’t know how on earth it happened. It was heartbreaking. He was only young.’

The Daily Mail understands Mr Claydon fell at the end of the concert while fireworks were being set off from the stage after Oasis had played Champagne Supernova.

Another fan witnessed paramedics trying to revive him after he had hit the concrete floor.

They said they first thought a coat was falling from above until they looked over.

‘I was directly underneath in section 211. At first glance I thought it was a coat falling from the above tier but then I looked and saw the bloke on the concrete. It was horrific to see,’ they said.

Oasis said in a statement that they were ‘shocked and saddened’ by the fan’s death.

‘Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved,’ they added.

Sunday night’s show at Wembley went ahead as planned with frontman Liam appearing to hint about the previous evening’s tragedy before performing Live Forever.

The singer told the crowd: ‘This ones for all the people who can’t be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean. And ain’t they looking lovely.’

Meanwhile, former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys, who had been at Wembley to watch Oasis, said he was shocked at the amount of alcohol fans were drinking.

Writing on X, he said: ‘I heard about this last night. It’s so sad. Thoughts are with the family.

‘The cause was the massive amount of alcohol allowed into the arena. I was astounded to see it. It wouldn’t happen at a football match. It shouldn’t happen at a concert.’

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: ‘At around 22:19hrs on Saturday, 2 August, officers on duty at Wembley Stadium for the Oasis concert responded alongside venue medics and the London Ambulance Service to reports that a person had been injured.

‘A man – aged in his 40s – was found with injuries consistent with a fall. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

‘The stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.

‘If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101, quoting 7985/02AUG.’

A Wembley Stadium spokesperson said: ‘Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall.

‘Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died.

‘Our though go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.

‘The Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.’

Liam Gallagher’s ex-wife Nicole Appleton and her friend Spice Girl Emma Bunton were among those watching Oasis perform on Sunday.

The former All Saints star took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal she was watching Oasis with Spice Girl Emma, her younger sister Nat and actress Donna Air.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Liam’s daughter Molly Moorish-Gallagher, 27 – who he shares with his ex Lisa Moorish – was also in attendance at his Oasis Wembley gig.

She posted some Instagram Stories from the crowd as she watched her dad and uncle perform to hundreds of thousands of people.

It’s been almost a month since the siblings performed together for the first time in 16 years following an epic falling out backstage in Paris which sparked the band’s split.

While it’s been feared that a major bust-up between the once-warring brothers could put a halt to the live shows, their latest gig showed that the pair are still on track.

Liam made a sweet onstage gesture to his brother Noel as they took to the stage on Wednesday.

As they continued their Oasis ’25 tour at during their third show at Wembley, Liam left fans in awe as he dedicated a song to his older brother, 58.

Ahead of belting out his next track, Liam told the crowd: ‘Now I’ve gotta dedicate this next tune to our kid – Stand By Me.’

The emotional moment was captured by a fan who shared a clip to X, with music lovers rushing to the comments to share how it made them feel.

Responses included such remarks as ‘Stop I’ll cry’, ‘Oh my heart’, ‘I love this! Wish I could be at one of these biblical gigs!!!I love Oasis. xxxx’ and ‘I’M GONNA CRY THIS IS THE CUTEST’.

The touching moment comes after fears for the tour’s future after it was revealed that Liam had been spending more time with his dog than Noel on the reunion tour.
