A devastating accident occurred last night at Ogbojo Junction in Accra, resulting in the loss of two lives and leaving two others injured. The collision, which involved two vehicles, has once again raised concerns about road safety in the city.

According to eyewitnesses and preliminary reports, the crash happened late last night under circumstances that are still under investigation. Emergency responders rushed to the scene to assist the victims, but tragically, two individuals were pronounced dead. The two injured survivors were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, though their current conditions remain unclear.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, pending notification of their families. Police are working to determine the cause of the accident, with initial speculation pointing to possible speeding, reckless driving, or poor road conditions.

This latest incident adds to the growing number of fatal accidents on Accra’s roads, sparking renewed calls for stricter enforcement of traffic laws and better road infrastructure. Many residents have expressed frustration over recurring accidents at major junctions, urging authorities to install speed bumps, better lighting, and traffic cameras to prevent future tragedies.
