Renowned Highlife musician, Akosua Agyapong, has reflected on some memories of the late Daddy Lumba, expressing how much she misses his songs.
She shared these sentiments during a visit to Daddy Lumba’s residence, where she offered her deepest condolences to his family.
Akosua spoke passionately about Daddy Lumba’s distinctive musical style, emphasising that the songs he created were truly exceptional.
”If you are not smart enough, you won’t understand the song,” highlighting the depth and layered meanings behind his lyrics.
She also recalled how every year, Daddy Lumba released new songs, and each one became a hit.
According to her, his music carried wisdom, and everything about him from his hairstyles to his dance moves was original and impactful. “The way he styles his hair, the way he dances, and everything about him is unique,” she concluded.
