The partner of late‑con woman Melissa Caddick, Anthony Koletti, has been charged by NSW Police with one count of common assault against a 73-year-old woman.
Police allege the incident occurred in Vaucluse last Wednesday, not far from where she vanished.
Earlier this week, police issued a public appeal for information, releasing an image of an unknown man in a black Under Armour shirt, cap and sunglasses strolling through a park in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Koletti went to Waverley Police Station late Wednesday night and was charged by officers in relation to the alleged incident.
Koletti is due to face court on September 5, 2025.
Koletti resumed working as a full-time hairdresser following Caddick’s disappearance and now runs a salon in Sydney’s east.
Caddick’s teenage son, from her first marriage is now mostly under the care of Mr Koletti.
The pair share an apartment in Vaucluse and the young adult studies at university.
Mr Koletti lived a his lavish life with Caddick, funded by the $23million she scammed from dozens of clients, including family and friends, before she vanished without a trace on November 12, 2020.
Caddick was declared dead by a coroner in May 2023. She had disappeared one day after ASIC investigators and Australian Federal Police officers raided her home at Dover Heights, east Sydney.
In February 2021, Caddick’s right foot – matched by DNA – was found in a shoe washed up on a beach south of Tathra, about 500km from where she was last seen alive.
It’s believed she jumped from the cliffs near her home, but the coroner was unable to determine her cause of death due to a lack of evidence.

This is a breaking story. More to come
