Ghanaian actress and socialite Akuapem Poloo has taken to social media to respond to Nigerian actor Jim Iyke’s recent comments in a radio interview that he didn’t even know who she was.

In a post on Instagram, Akuapem Poloo, shared a stunning photo of herself accompanied by a message that appeared to be a direct jab at Jim Iyke.

The controversial personality sarcastically suggested that whether Jim Iyke knew her or not did not matter to her because she does not care.

Akuapem Poloo added that it is only when American music superstar Cardi B denies not knowing her that she will be offended because she sees her as a twinny.

Her post read: “🤣The only person who will say she doesn’t know me and it will hurt me is My Twinny @iamcardib 😍 aside her I don’t care who will open mouth say I don’t know Poloo 🤣🤷🏾‍♀️”

Jim Iyke made the statement during an  interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on Monday, July 28, 2025, where he addressed Akuapem Poloo’s earlier claims that he angrily walked out of the 2024 Ghana Movie Awards.

The actor rubbished her claims, stating that there was no dramatic exit and that he had a prior business meeting scheduled.

Jim further stated that his attendance at the awards event was purely out of respect for Fred Nuamah, the event’s founder.

According to him, everything had been pre-arranged and three cars were sent to pick him up after staying briefly.
