    Hollywood is known for its glamour and global talents and Ghanaians are no exception when it comes to contributing to the world’s biggest entertainment industry.

    Over the years, a number of Ghanaian actors and actresses have not only broken through this big stage, but have left some unforgettable marks on the global stage.

    Cynthia Addai-Robinson

    Leading the list is Cynthia Addai-Robinson, who is known for her fierce role in the movie, ‘Spartacus: War of the Damned.’

    Her commanding presence and strong performances earned her recognition among the top talents in Hollywood.

    Currently, she plays the role of Tar-Míriel on Amazon Prime’s ‘The Lord of the Rings’ series, as well as ‘The Accountant 2.’

    Hugh Quarshie

    Hugh Quarshie is also a Ghanaian actor known for his long-running role as Ric Griffin on the BBC One medical drama, Holby City (2001–20), and for playing Captain Panako in Star Wars Episode I (1999).

    Kofi Siriboe

    Another big name is the vibrant and charismatic, Kofi Siriboe, who won hearts in the Box Office hit, ‘Girls Trip,’ further establishing his place as one of Hollywood’s rising stars.

    Adjah Andoh

    In Netflix’s hit series, Bridgerton, Adjah Andoh delivered a stunning performance through seasons 1 to 3, capturing global attention with her elegance and strength.

    Akosua Busia

    Akosua Busia delivered a powerful performance in the emotional film, ‘Tears of the Sun,’ further solidifying her reputation in Hollywood.

    Frema Agyeman

    There is also Frema Agyeman, who starred in ‘New Amsterdam’ from seasons 1 to 4, showcasing her acting range and depth.

    Michael Blackson

    Known for his unique blend of comedy and charisma, Michael Blackson made his mark in Hollywood on ‘Next Friday,’ becoming a beloved figure in the comedy scene.

    Peter Mensah

    Peter Mensah, known for his commanding roles, appeared in ‘Avatar,’ one of the most visually-stunning and successful films in history.
