Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Rose Adjei has boldly spoken about her disappointment with the lack of recognition she has received from the gospel music industry in Ghana, despite her unwavering contribution over the past 12 years.

In an emotional interview on Rainbow Radio’s Mid-Morning Drive with Sokoo Hemaa, Rose Adjei revealed that although she has ministered through soul-lifting songs and impacted many lives, she feels sidelined by the very industry she has served with passion and commitment.

“I have been in the gospel music space for over 12 years, and honestly, I don’t think the industry has celebrated me enough,” she lamented.

“The system seems to only celebrate their favorites, and those of us who work quietly and consistently are often overlooked.”

Rose Adjei, known for her spiritually charged songs and powerful stage presence, expressed that recognition is not necessarily about awards, but about appreciation, support, and inclusion.

She emphasized that while she does not seek validation, acknowledgment from industry stakeholders would go a long way to encourage her and other gospel artists who may be silently enduring the same struggle.

As one of the unsung heroes in Ghana’s gospel music scene, Rose’s message serves as a powerful reminder: celebrate your own, and do it while they’re still here.
