A young mother shared her daughter’s stern reaction to being told to shut her mouth, unwilling to accept such a statement, even if it was from her mother.
According to the mom, she had gotten momentarily frustrated while working with her toddler, and in the heat of the moment, had told the little girl to shut up.
Unexpectedly, the little girl, displeased by her mother’s words, had a reply for her. She questioned why her mother would ask her to shut up, before admonishing her not to say such a thing again.
She said,
“Mummy why do you say shut up your mouth? Don’t say that again o, don’t say that again.”
The young mom was taken aback by her daughter’s words, serious tone, and mature facial expression, which made it feel like the little girl became the parent and she was the one getting told off.
The adorable moment between the mother and daughter has since gone viral, with many users commenting on the viral video.
