    Two female childcare workers have been accused of assaulting a 17-month-old boy toddler at a daycare centre in Sydney‘s west.  

    On June 26, detectives received a report regarding injuries to the young boy at an early learning centre in South Wentworthville.

    Detectives found the injuries were allegedly caused by two childcare workers during separate occasions on the same day. 

    A 42-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault, and a 32-year-old woman was charged with common assault. 

    Both women will appear in Blacktown Local Court on August 27.
