Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku has been captured playing football with locals in Madina, Ghana, in a heartwarming moment that’s gone viral today.

A video shared by 3Sports shows the Belgium international, who is in Ghana for a short visit, joining young players for a casual kickabout on a dusty pitch in the Madina community, where his family roots run deep.

Doku, 23, has already visited his family house and organised the Jeremy Doku Cup, a local tournament aimed at inspiring young talent.

But his latest move, swapping the Etihad Stadium for a rough community field, has thrilled fans even more, showing the Manchester City star staying true to his Ghanaian heritage.

Fluent in Twi and proud of his Ghanaian upbringing, Doku has often spoken about wanting to give back and help nurture local football talent.
