Mohammed Kudus is now part of the Tottenham Hotspur team Mohammed Kudus is now part of the Tottenham Hotspur team

Ghanaian International Mohammed Kudus completed a transfer from West Ham United to Tottenham Hotspur in a deal worth £55 million spread over three years.

The 24-year-old contributed 22 goal involvements scoring 13 goals and assisting 9 in his 65 appearances for the Hammers after joining from Ajax in 2023.

Tottenham unveiled their new signing on Thursday, July 10, 2025, on their social media handles with many fans excited about his arrival.

However, Kudus has revealed the reason why he signed for the North London club saying, “One of the most important parts of why I came here is the project and how the manager sees it, and to develop under him.

“With the history of where he’s come from, I’ve seen the amount of talent he’s developed to become great players. It’s a big sign of why I wanted to work under him as well.”

Kudus will wear the number 20 and work under new Tottenham coach Thomas Frank who also joined the club from Brentford to take the role of Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked after winning the Europa League.

Tottenham will look to make a statement in next season’s Premier League after finishing on a poor note last season.
