Popular Ghanaian media personality Nana Romeo Welewele has got tongues wagging after donating his entire first month’s salary from his new role at Okay FM to the Teshie Children’s Home.

The gesture, which included providing the children with essential items like bottled water, toiletries, drinks, clothes, and a delicious meal of jollof rice and chicken, was Nana Romeo’s way of fulfilling a special promise he made to God when he joined the Despite Media Group.

In a video sighted by zionfelix.net, Nana Romeo explained that he felt compelled to give back and bring joy to the children as part of his commitment to God.

According to him, this act of charity is not a one-time effort but the beginning of many more to come. “I decided to donate my entire first month’s salary to bring joy to the kids, and this is not going to be the last time,” he assured.

Beyond donating supplies, Nana Romeo also made the experience truly memorable by spending quality time with the children.

He joined them for lunch, turning what could have been just a charity drop-off into a warm, shared moment filled with laughter, smiles, and human connection.

The well-known radio host recently made headlines with his big move from Accra FM to Despite Media’s Okay FM, where he now leads the station’s drive-time show, Ekwanso Dwodwo.

The switch marked a significant career milestone for Nana Romeo, who had built a strong following at Accra FM for years.

His transition to Okay FM wasn’t just about career growth but also about making a greater impact.
