    Gospel sensation Frimpomaa officially launched her debut album, ‘Forever King’, at a special event in Accra on July 2, 2025.

    The album listening spotlighted several powerful singles from the album, including; Jehovah, Heaven’s Dew, Lord Be Praised, Story of Life, God of the Mountains, Forever King, Medawase, sing to the Lord, and the Greater Anwanwa Do Medley.

    Over the past five years, Frimpomaa has steadily gained recognition as an independent gospel artist consistently releasing quality songs.

    This has expanded her fan base, and her debut album has generated significant industry buzz.

    Notable media personalities in attendance included; Fredyma, Londona, Nii Noi, Edem Mensah Tsotorme, Abrantepa, Taller Dee, Obaa Soono, renowned gospel bloggers among others, who led engaging discussions and interviews around the album and Frimpomaa’s musical journey.

    Legendary gospel musicians like; Diana Hopeson, Cindy Thompson, Abena Serwaa Ophelia, and man of God Prophet Joseph Atarah came to show love and support to Frimpomaa as she outdoors her debut album.

    Jocelyn Darko, known in the music world as Frimpomaa is an Independent, Rising, Ghanaian Gospel Recording Artiste with nine singles to her credit.

    Born and raised in Obuasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, she attended Mfantsiman Girls High School before training as a Nurse at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi-Ghana, after which she pursued further studies at the Oxford Brookes University, Oxford-United Kingdom.

    Her debut single, ‘Greater’ released in August 2021, has been featured on GOD TV UKs ‘Amplified’ with sensational Worship Leaders, Noel Robinson and Lou Fellingham highly complementing it!

    ‘Sing to the Lord’ which was released in August 2022 made it to the ASTEPFWD UK Christian Chart’s Top Three Contemporary Gospel for the month.
