Ghanaian street preacher Evangelist Suro Nyame has made a heartfelt confession and apology for his past actions, which he describes as arrogant and prideful. In a recent interview with Kwaku Manu, Suro Nyame admitted that his behavior drove away people who supported and helped him on his evangelical path.
Suro Nyame recognized that his actions, especially after gaining popularity, were marked by arrogance and pride, causing him to lose his way as a man of God. He humbly begged God and humans for forgiveness, expressing sadness in his soul and a desire to be helped. “I would like to beg God and humans. Sometimes I post things, and people urge me to delete them, only for me to insult them. I felt no one was sensible enough to advise me. I feel sad in my soul. I am very happy I now know where I fell short, and I plead with God and people to help me.”
Suro Nyame emphasized his eagerness to return to preaching on the streets and winning souls for Christ, with a renewed strength, knowledge, and motivation. “In my heart, mind, and soul I will love to go to the ghetto to preach. If I get renewed strength, knowledge, and motivation today, I would use my strength to move from ghetto to ghetto to preach.” He encouraged those he may have offended to forgive him, pray for him, and offer advice, showcasing his willingness to be obedient and learn. Kwaku Manu commended the Evangelist for realizing that his actions hindered his development in the work of God and prayed that he would find the renewed strength to win souls for Christ.
