Ghanaian musician Keche Joshua has finally broken his silence after coming under heavy criticism online for saying that Yaa Jackson sings better than Gyakie. The comment, which was made during a casual moment in the presence of blogger ZionFelix and Yaa Jackson herself, has since triggered a wave of reactions from music fans across the country.
In the original video, Keche Joshua could be heard enthusiastically praising Yaa Jackson’s musical talent. He went as far as stating that she sings better than Gyakie, insisting that his claim was not meant to flatter the young actress-turned-musician. “I love your song,” he said before boldly adding, “What I said is the truth.”

His comment came on the heels of Yaa Jackson’s release of her new single Moses, which may have inspired the spontaneous praise.
Now, in a follow-up comment under a video reel on the Instagram page of Zionfelix, Keche Joshua, using their verified account appears to be dialing back on the seriousness of his earlier remark. Posting under the video, he wrote: “All play oo I beg 😂😂😂😂😂😂,” suggesting that his comparison between the two artists was made in jest and should not be taken too seriously.
But as the video made rounds on social media, it sparked intense debate, with many defending Gyakie and accusing Keche Joshua of downplaying her.

The clarification comes as an attempt to cool the online backlash, as fans continue to share their divided opinions on who truly holds the vocal edge between the two young singers.
