In a new emotional outburst making waves online, UK-based Ghanaian musician Reggie Zippy has reignited public conversations around justice, trauma, and the psychological aftermath of alleged false arrests—drawing attention not just to his feud with ex-wife Edith Ward, but to what he describes as a personal violation by the very system meant to protect him.

In a passionate video, Reggie recounts a harrowing episode in 2023, when he says he was wrongfully arrested on a day meant for celebration—his daughter’s baptism.

“Even when I took my case to the police, they still arrested me on my daughter’s fucking baptism day. And I still have to live with it,” he said, visibly shaken.

The Reggie ‘n’ Bollie star says the emotional toll of that incident lingers. And despite later receiving compensation for what he describes as an “unlawful arrest,” he claims he used that money not for personal healing, but to care for the very family at the heart of the conflict.

“When the police compensated me, you and the kids were the first people I paid money to out of my fucking police unlawful arrest payment. What more should I do?”

The video, while intense, sheds light on deeper issues: the trauma men face while navigating custody disputes, the mishandling of domestic conflicts by legal institutions, and the difficulty of healing after public humiliation.

Reggie, now in a new relationship, pleads for peace but warns that he will no longer remain silent.

“It was two years ago that I wanted to go to the police, but I let it slide. This year, it’s not going to happen. I will take my case to the police.”

He insists he has been harassed and emotionally manipulated, stating bluntly:

“You and your family and your friends are the ones fucking molesting me… Let me be the bigger person, let me forgive—but why? Every day, a new story.”
