A video has surfaced online showing three uniformed military men assisting male students of an unidentified school in dressing more appropriately.
In the video, sighted by GhanaWeb and posted by Byte Samuel on Facebook on June 13, 2025, six male students were stopped by the military personnel at Osu, instructing them to pull up their shorts to their navels — a practice that was once the norm.
Over time, however, peer pressure and influences from Western fashion trends have led many young men to wear their trousers, shorts, and other pants lower on their waists, often exposing parts of their bodies.
In the video, the students obediently complied as the military personnel continued their discipline.
Another student was also captured in the video having his hair neatly brushed by one of the uniformed soldiers.
The actions of the military men drew attention from onlookers and passersby, who praised them for instilling discipline in the students.
Netizens who watched the video also took the opportunity to commend the act, sharing their personal experiences with military discipline, which they said had helped instill a sense of order and responsibility in their lives.
