Ghanaian actor Collins Oteng, popularly known by fans as Okomfo Kolege, has been hit by yet another heartbreaking loss as it has emerged that his mother has passed.

A post seen on the Instagram page of Poleeno Multimedia confirmed the devastating news in the early hours of Thursday, June 12, 2025.

For many who have followed Okomfo Kolege’s life in recent years, this news is especially painful.

It will be noted that the actor is still recovering from the grief of losing his pregnant wife and unborn child in 2022.

Just as he has began to pick up the pieces, by remarrying in 2024 in a quiet traditional ceremony and gradually returning to the screens, death has come knocking again.

Although details surrounding the cause of his mother’s death remain scarce at the moment, the confirmation alone has triggered an outpouring of sympathy from fans, industry colleagues, and sympathizers.

May his mother’s soul rest in perfect peace.
